Marble Cheesecake

Marble Cheesecake ku
...Semalam off day jadi hari untuk kita "explore" resipi Mula-mula ingat nak cuba try buat chilled ciskek...tapi bahan-bahan tak cukup la pulak...sbb ingat malas sikit nak steam bake. Tapi bila belek-belek resipi ciskek ni ....eh macam sonang ja...baik ku cuba buat malam ni....

Bila ingat off day tu panjang boleh la aku tido lambat malam ni....sekali dah habis godak bahan dan kek pun baru jer masuk oven...tiba-tiba...kring-kring...tak dan nak jawab sbb henfon lam bilik...ada missed call la from my boss!...eh apa ke heinya dia tepon aku memalam buta ni...tgk jam dah nak 11.15mlm ni...return call balik kat dia...esok boleh mai keja dak?...ur colleague amik EL...haiya..nak tolak pun kesian gak sbb tahu mesti susah nak cari replacement punya...ok la esok saya pi...

Memang jadi rezeki kawan-kawanku kat ofes, marble cheesecake ni Ana bawa sikit untuk depa merasa....Depa kata sedapppp...aduh Ana pun tak sangka lak memang sedap...jadi untuk sesiapa yg rajin makan ciskek ni kalau nak try resipi ni boleh la.... Sori resipi lam english version...so korang tranlate ler sendiri yo....



Marble Cheesecake

For base:
200 gm digestive biscuits(milled) - ana guna biskut marie jer
50 gm ground almond(toasted) - ana guna almond nib, toasted gak
120 gm butter(melted)

Filling
750 gm cream cheese
120 gm caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
120 gm white cooking chocolate(melted by double-boiling)
30 gm cornflour
300 ml UHT whipping cream
3 eggs(beaten)

Topping
50 gm dark cooking chocolate(melted by double-boiling)

Utensils needed
9" loose-base cake tin

Base : Preheat oven at 140C. Mix melted butter with dry ingredients until well-combined. Press onto a 9" loose-bake cake tin. Refrigerate until set.
Filling:
Beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add in melted white chocolate. Add in cream, vanilla essence and cornflour. Lastly, add in eggs. Pour batter onto set base, drizzle with melted dark chocolate on top. Steam bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. Leave cake in oven with door closed for 30 minutes but temperature turned off.

Remove cake from oven and let cake cool at room temperature. Refrigerate for 6 hours before serving.
